Read AI pioneer Geoff Hinton’s thoughts on AI breakthroughs, gaps, and how our brain works compared to Machine Learning. Understand what is powering Machine Learning models that one day may ultimately replicate human intelligence and common sense.

According to Hinton, "Neural nets are surprisingly good at dealing with a rather small amount of data, with a huge numbers of parameters, but people are even better."

Our human brain has about 100 trillion parameters, or synapses, compared to a neural net big model that has only 175 billion! We will need a massive increase in scale in order to master human reasoning.
